ITS TIME TO PLAN FOR OUR ANNUAL XMAS GATHERINGGGG! :)

i know it may still sound far, but i guess we need to make necessary arrangements so we wont have to rush last minute!

HANDS UP for the YACHT idea!! remember mairah's suggestion? if i nvr rem wrongly, its abt $30 per person and we get sail ard ? for like the day.

i think its a fantastic idea to be out in the sea with just us ard so we can make hell lot of noise as we usually do! hehe..

Heya~

As all of you can see, I have taken it upon myself (wee~ so nice of me) to change the template as the background in the old template couldn't be displayed anymore. So I hope you guys like the new template (though it's a bit childish).

Anyway, if you look under profile, there's a section called contributors.. I pasted the contributors part of the old template there but it couldn't be shown.. So if someone could fix it.. please do =X I am not very good with such stuff.

Ermm.. Or if you guys feel that there's anything missing, feel free to add too =D

KK originated from the US, I think it came from Carolina (North or South I can't remember, I reckon North, but then again, I'm not sure). I am going to the land of KK, though I'm not in the state it came from, but LA has lots of KK outlets!

Anyway feel free to arrange cycling trips after I leave, even if you did it before, I couldn't go (I can't cycle, remember?). One dinner/gathering will do=)

Seems like I can't meet up for gathering before Hebe goes away =( Since my date for home is tentatively set on 2nd July =( A freaking 2 weeks after Jia Xin =( Arg, I wanna hit her!

Anyway, to Hebe, I thought Krispy Kreme supposed to be from Sydney. Ironically, I haven't tasted a single one since I came =X Coz there isn't any KK shop near my place. So stupid =(

As for cycling.. Sounds so fun.. Dun think I can participate, if it is to be scheduled before Hebe's departure (Sounds so wrong.. departure... arr.. I dun mean it that way). Er, but anyway, I can't participate in night cycling. My mom will kill me coz she deemed it to be dangerous.. riding along with the traffic and at night no less.

Oh that means we have to arrange for a meeting between then and the 23rd. I'm flying off on the morning of the 24th and none of the Aussie-based people will still be around by the time I get back. Lol. It's ok about the Krispy Kreme, I reckon I can try to have some when I'm over there.

Anyway, any news on the gathering Shu Hui was sms-ing about, still on tomorrow or has it shifted to another day (can't make it tomorrow for dinner, unless you want to meet for a late lunch)

heya people! how's ur day? good?? ((: know i haven been contributing, so sry about that. my com's screwed up. anw, i'm currently having my hols.. gg to be over in 2 wks time. boo! =(

hmm.. i've been busy with dragonboat trng and wrking for brendon's dad's company. its those posting job, something like singapore post. a pretty no brainer job i'ld say. like doing inserts of flyers, annual magazines into envelopes n sticking address labels. yup. so the mails that some of you and ur parents receive might actually be done by me! haha. do appreciate it really, you can never imagine the amount of effort involved behind all the packaging. oh, n if u happen to realise address labels that stuck really horribly (not centralised n slanted), do think of me! there's a high possibility that im the culprit. lol.

but the pay isnt really gd, unless ur hands are super fast. cos you're paid like 5cents for every insert/label pasted. and for a noob like me, i'm pretty slow compared to the aunties working there la. lol. but better than nothing la, cos i still have trng which means i'll have a rather inflexible working schedule.

hmmm.. so basically that's about me. oh, yeah. forgot to mention that i'm leaving for japan on mon night for holidayyyyy. yay. haha. finally a break for me man. but still have to make up for the trainings i missed. omg. SOBS.

Actually if I recall correctly, you don't have to take the FTT. Just pass BTT and you can convert. The woman next to me during my BTT was trying to get her license converted and that was what she told me.

Actually i had considered learning here too. But I think it is going to be rather expensive if you don't have a friend who can drive and who owns a car. Because the per hour charge is super ex. And if you have a friend that can teach you, you can save tons and tons of money =P

And there are too much bad accidents regarding foreigners driving here that maybe it is deterring me too. My mom always say not to drive in Aust, or sit friend's car. Because after all we don't know the road here well and stuff. Even in singapore she don't really like the idea of me taking other people's car because she felt that they have no experience and it is dangerous. Aiyah, what to do I am her only precious daughter mah =P

But if JX wanna learn then learn lor! Then maybe when go back singapore can drive me home from your house instead of ma-fanning your mom - which will make me feel better. Wahaha. Or if I go Melbourne(if ever) you can also chauffeur me around. =)

hello!

Haha I thought that this blog for all of us is really good! haha since I don't intend to create my own blog to update u guys, I guess I can just post my interesting stories here instead! This is really cool! It will be great that all of us remain in close contact since a quarter of us are not back at home.

My days in Melbourne are really fine.... nothing much special here actually. Melbourne city is really small and there's really nothing to see and shop.. esp. when all the things are like triple the price as compared to Singapore. Window shopping for me isn't really that enjoyable thinking of the days that i spent like crazy back at home! Walking for long distances sometimes can be real sian since all the shops are like shop houses, not like having one big mall with everything like in Singapore... I miss shopping back home!

Horticulture isn't really that easy at all... esp when nothing i learnt in jc is not putting into good use here! Everything starts from scratch! Having the thought of going to memorise at least 150 botanical names plus more more does seems daunting right?! OMG and my every pract that I'm doing for the first and last time will be counted for exams! It can get quite stressing.

Alright I guess thats for now... good update for everyone!
